The Wisconsin American Legion Rhino Run will be making an appearance in the Chippewa Valley on July 14, 2014. The rally, which frequents an assortment of areas from Portage to Appleton, will make its final stop on Monday at the American Legion Bever Post 550 in Brackett, Wis.
The Rhino Run, a fundraiser for the American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund, which occurs prior to the 96th Annual Convention in Appleton, begins Monday, July 14 at 8 a.m. in Portage and makes four stops throughout the day with the final stop at the Brackett Post. The ride resumes for the next two days with a stop on Tuesday in Janesville and concludes Wednesday in Appleton.
The American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund was created to ease the burden of college tuition and living expenses for the children of military personnel who were killed during active duty.
