The USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships weekend in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, will kick off on Aug. 6 at 5:30 p.m. CT with a celebratory banquet to honor the 2014 USA Triathlon Athletes of the Year and Multisport Award winners.
Triathlon icon Mark Allen, who is best known for his six IRONMAN World Championship wins, will serve as the keynote speaker for the event, which will be held at the Pier Wisconsin at Discovery World. Registration is now open for the event at active.com. The price of $34.95 for adults ($39.95 after Aug. 1) and $15.95 for children (ages 8-14; children under 7 are free) includes a buffet dinner, the keynote speech and presentations for each of the award winners. Tables may also be purchased by contacting Meg Weagley at megan.weagley@usatriathlon.org. This unique celebration banquet has sold out each of the last three years.
