Kashion Smith and Stephanie Andrews, two area hospitality professionals, have joined the staff of the Amarillo Convention & Visitor Council.
Smith is an Amarillo native with more than 10 years of hospitality experience in local properties. She joins the staff as a Convention Sales Manager handling association and government groups and the corporate market. Her duties will have her in Austin, regularly.
Andrews is a Louisiana native but has been in Amarillo for many years. She has 18 years of industry experience and is the office’s new Sales & Servicing Assistant.
“To have either young lady join our staff would be wonderful, but to have both come on board at the same time is quite a coup. Their experience and training will help the office exceed the expectations of our clients and our visitors,” Dan Quandt, Executive Director of the Amarillo CVC, says.
The Amarillo Convention & Visitor Council is a division of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce.
The Amarillo CVC mission is to positively impact the economy and image of Amarillo through destination marketing and related support programs.
