The Run for Your Lives 5K, an obstacle race where participants face the additional challenge of being chased by zombies, has added two new promotions.
Free Spectator Admission: Spectators attending any 2013 Run for Your Lives Event (locations are listed on the website at http://www.runforyourlives.com/) may attend free, thanks to the support of charitable partner, The Kennedy Krieger Institute.
According to promotional information provided by the race organizers, “The Kennedy Krieger Institute is an internationally recognized organization focused on the problems and injuries affecting a child’s developing brain. For decades, their dedicated researchers, physicians, therapists and educators have been helping children with brain injuries and disorders across the nation on their road to recovery. In short, they love brains, too. Please consider showing your support and appreciation by donating online, at a RFYL event, or by participating in their Text2Donate campaign by texting the word “BRAIN” to 85944 to donate $5 directly. Be sure to reply “YES” to the text to confirm the donation and complete the transaction. Your support is the key to unlocking the potential of kids battling brain injuries and disorders.
