The Super Y League, preparing for its 17th season in 2015, has announced a partnership with ACES Nation that will allow Super Y clubs to have access to the most advanced tools and resources in nutrition, performance, college recruiting and college planning.
ACES Nation (www.acesnation.org) is quickly becoming known in youth sports as the online leader in athlete education. Using youth sports as the platform, ACES educates youth parents, coaches and student-athletes about the challenging realities they will face regarding college academically, athletically and financially while providing practical tools and resources to help them navigate through those challenges.
“We are extremely excited to welcome ACES Nation and Tim Livingston as an official league partner of the Super Y League,” Director of U20 & Youth League Development Gordon Bengtson said. “Naturally, this relationship enhances the value of our league as a whole, but more importantly this partnership will aid our clubs in the education of their membership as they navigate the ever-evolving landscape of youth soccer.
“The education of players, parents and club leadership is a critical component in youth development and the growth of the game as a whole in our country. One of the primary objectives of the Super Y League is to provide a platform for member clubs to develop youth players. The partnership with ACES Nation demonstrates the league’s continued intentions of finding new and innovative ways for our clubs to lead the way forward in their respective markets.”
The ACES Nation platform officially launched in July 2013, and currently serves thousands of youth sports families throughout the United States. Focused on the growth and development of today's youth in all socio-economic environments, the ACES vision is to transform futures, improve lives and enrich communities through education.
Known for providing "athlete education" to youth sports parents, coaches and student-athletes, ACES educates on the realities of going to college, playing in college, paying for college and life after college. With an amazing team of nationally recognized experts in the fields of nutrition, performance, college recruiting and college planning, ACES provides incredible tools and resources to help student-athletes achieve at their highest potential in sports and in life after sports.
“We are very excited to officially partner with USL's Super Y League,” said Livingston, CEO of ACES Nation. “Teaming up with the Super Y League to provide its member organizations and their families with such valuable membership benefits will further enable us to continue to change the landscape of youth sports to make sure kids have a great sports experience while simultaneously educating their families on what it means and what it takes to be 'college ready' academically, athletically, and financially.”
In order to best serve each community from the urban core to suburbia, ACES partners with youth organizations to provide valuable membership benefits to their participants. One example of a member benefit includes the ability for ACES to provide private college scholarships to its member organizations. In 2014 alone, ACES Nation provided approximately $7.5 million in non-athletic, private college tuition scholarships to student-athletes ages 5-16 throughout the United States just for participating in a youth sports organization! The current 2015 forecast is estimated at $25 million.
The goal of the Super Y League is to provide clubs with an experience that is unparalleled in youth soccer. The Super Y League shares clubs’ passion for player development and realizes that in order to be an elite club, you must play in an elite league. With a sanctioned ODP program, partnership with GotSoccer, experienced and professional staff, advanced player tracking, and offering the chance to compete for a North American Championship, the Super Y League is the best operated youth league in North America, allowing it to stand above the competition.
