Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) finished 2018, with a record 1,005 members - easily becoming the world’s largest organization of pickleball coaches.  PPR now has members in all 50 U.S. States and is set to aggressively expand beyond its current 11 countries.

“Several factors led to the amazing growth of PPR.  First, our strong and supportive relationship with USA Pickleball has brought pickleball coaches to PPR.  In addition, PTR members who offer pickleball currently make up the majority of PPR.  Also Sarah Ansboury’s expertise and hard work conducting 40 PPR workshops in less six months were integral to the rapid growth of the sport of pickleball,” explained Dan Santorum, PPR CEO.

He continued, “PPR’s future is just as bright with the recent addition to our staff  PPR Member Service Manager, Nicole Hobson.  Our first East Coast PPR Conference is set for February 15-16 on Hilton Head Island, and more PPR certification workshops are scheduled in the USA and internationally.  We are also looking forward to the release of the new PPR Youth Development curriculum, and to partnerships with pickleball federations, manufacturers and clubs.  All of this, as well as the debut of the PickTen Program, which was recently cited in a Wall Street Journal article, will grow both pickleball and tennis.”

Justin Maloof, USA Pickleball Association’s CEO added, “Not only is the growth of PPR impressive, it is a direct result of the quality instruction and great customer service PPR provides to its members.  PPR has been a positive addition to pickleball and has been extremely helpful to USA Pickleball.”

PPR is dedicated to educating, certifying and serving pickleball teaching professionals and coaches around the world in order to grow the game.  PPR is the largest global organization of pickleball teaching pros with more than 1,000 members in all 50 states and 11 countries.  PPR is a subsidiary of Professional Tennis Registry, the largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals and coaches with nearly 16,500 members in 125 countries.
