The NFHS has announced a three-year corporate partnership with Varsity Performing Arts, making it a founding member of the NFHS Performing Arts Corporate Partner Program.
Varsity Performing Arts serves marching bands, pep bands, color guards, and other indoor performing groups across the country by helping to fully outfit these ensembles, both for practice and for performance. It also creates opportunities for these groups to showcase their skills and receive feedback from industry leaders.
“The NFHS is proud to welcome Varsity Performing Arts as the founding member of the NFHS Performing Arts Corporate Arts Program,” said NFHS CEO Dr. Karissa Niehoff. “Varsity Spirit and Varsity Performing Arts fuel the passion and spirit found in every high school across America, on every sideline, in every halftime show, of every season. It has earned a reputation as being a leading voice in celebrating school spirit in all its forms and we are excited to join its expansion into the performing arts.”
The partnership with Varsity Performing Arts expands with the NFHS’s longstanding partnership with Varsity Spirit. A division of Varsity Brands, Varsity Spirit is the global leader in cheerleading, dance team and band apparel, camps and competitions, and yearbook.
"Varsity Performing Arts is proud to be a founding member of the NFHS Performing Arts Corporate Partner Program, a testament to our dedication to elevating student and athlete experiences,” said Stephen Flowers, Director of Strategy and Transformation for Varsity Spirit. “In collaboration with NFHS, we are committed to driving new levels of student participation in the performing arts and in experiences that promote collaboration between performing arts, cheer, and dance, the core of a school’s spirit program."
Varsity Performing Arts, a division of Varsity Spirit, was founded in 2019 to serve the performing arts community and is comprised of some of the leading organizations in the performing arts and spirit communities – Stanbury Uniforms, DSI, SA Feather and Varsity Spirit Fashion. Notable initiatives include Game Day Live and the newly announced National School Band Championship starting in 2026 at Walt Disney World Resort®, providing bands nationwide with a platform to showcase their talent.
