PTR Announces Promotion of Steve Keller to Director of Education

Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) announced the promotion of Steve Keller to from Director of Development, a post he has held since 2008, to Director of Education.

Keller, who has been a member of PTR since 1986, is now responsible for the educational direction and content of the organization’s four pathways to certification, as well as all aspects of the Master of Tennis programs.  He will oversee PTR clinician training to ensure continuity of content delivery, and design and develop professional development courses to create opportunities for certified members to fulfill the new continuing education requirements.  Keller will report to PTR CEO Dan Santorum and serve as the staff liaison to the USTA coaching education department.

“With his knowledge, passion and dedication, Steve Keller is one of the top tennis clinicians in the country,” said Santorum.  “Steve continues to conduct PTR workshops throughout the USA, and is widely requested as a clinician.  In his new role, Steve will ensure the caliber and excellence of our education offerings continue to be the best in the industry.”

PTR is the largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals with more than14,800 members in 121 countries.  It has the greatest percentage of multicultural and women members of any such organization.  PTR is dedicated to educating, certifying and servicing tennis teachers and coaches around the world in order to grow the game.
