TrainingPeaks has announced that the 2020 Endurance Coaching Summit (ECS) will be hosted virtually this year and is completely free.
The Endurance Coaching Summit returns on November 17th-19th for its sixth consecutive year, bringing together business leaders, industry partners and national governing bodies from around the world to discuss topics that drive the endurance community. TrainingPeaks notes that attendees will learn the latest science-based coaching strategies, gain powerful marketing tools focused on building brand recognition and have the opportunity to network with other coaches online.
As the endurance sports industry continues to adapt to COVID-19, TrainingPeaks remains committed to helping coaches find the resources they need to support their business and their athletes. With so many uncertainties clouding the future, TrainingPeaks will no longer be hosting the 2020 in-person event in London. Instead, all speakers, panel discussions and sponsors will be hosted virtually, free for all to attend.
“We understand that a lot of coaches are scrambling to find their footing during this pandemic,” said Dirk Friel, TrainingPeaks co-founder and Chief Evangelist. “We want to be there for them and show our support by moving ECS to a virtual platform and provide everyone access for free.
“That way, coaches can continue their education and still get the resources they need to grow their coaching business.”
For anyone considering starting their own coaching business, ECS virtual is positioned as the perfect event to begin learning what it takes to run a successful business.
“Attendees can network with some of the most successful coaches in the industry and pick up compelling marketing tactics – all for free. Coaches looking to expand their current business will get insider tips from entrepreneurs leading the field.”
Individuals can register for free and gain unlimited access to the three-day event. The summit will feature keynote speakers, breakout sessions that dive deep into current endurance training trends and a sponsor exhibit where attendees can learn the latest in fitness tech, nutrition, power meters, performance gear and more. Plus, viewers will have access to review the feed for up to one week after the summit ends.
In addition to the free virtual summit, TrainingPeaks has teamed up with charitable partners to help give back to the endurance community. With all registration costs being waived for the 2020 Endurance Coaching Summit, TrainingPeaks is asking attendees to consider giving a small contribution to one of these valuable organizations. For every donation received, TrainingPeaks will match dollar-for-dollar up to US$20,000.
