Polygiene Announces Multi-Stop City Tour for Athlete Education

Polygiene®, the world leader in odor control and freshness technologies, along with its brand partner Toad&Co®, kicked off its nine-stop 2017 Less Wash More Weekend Sweepstakes. The tour and sweepstakes are designed to inspire people to embrace responsible habits and behaviors when washing their clothes.

“The Less Wash More Weekend Sweepstakes raises awareness on how we can all be better stewards of the environment,” said Colleen Nipkow, Polygiene’s marketing director for the Americas. “The average family does around 392 loads of wash per year. If we committed to one less load per week, at 28 minutes per load, it would save over 2000 gallons of water and free up three days per year.”

Registration for the 2017 Less Wash More Weekend Sweepstakes kicked off April 4 with a weekend giveaway to Austin, Texas. Sweepstakes destinations and the respective registration periods include:

  • Asheville, North Carolina (April 11-May 1)

  • San Francisco, California (April 18-May 8)

  • Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (April 25-May 15)

  • Golden and Ft. Collins, Colorado (May 2-22)

  • Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, Michigan (May 9-29)

  • Seattle, Washington (May 16-June 5)

  • Portland, Maine (May 23-June 12)

  • Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota (May 30-June 19)

Toad&Co and Polygiene will send sweepstakes winners and their friends on the ultimate “trail to tavern” weekend: beer tasting and outdoor excursions in some of the best beer towns in America. Additionally, winners will receive $500 in travel expenses, an assortment of prizes from sweepstakes’ sponsors and a full suitcase of Toad&Co’s Polygiene-treated clothes. As garments treated with Polygiene prevent growth of odor-causing bacteria, users can wear more and wash less. There will be a total of nine trips offered, 18 winners and 27 days without doing laundry in sight.
