One of the newest smartphone app companies has partnered with the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) to provide a new member benefit to USPTA-certified Professionals. Plannit is now the official mobile business platform of the USPTA, as announced.
Plannit exists to help USPTA Professionals grow their income and build great client relationships. Busy tennis-teaching professionals are able to manage their business quickly and easily with a simple smartphone app: book lessons, manage payments, record and share lesson videos, communicate efficiently with clients, and deliver a highly professional business image.
“One of the USPTA’s top priorities is to continue to provide resources to make a tennis-teaching professional’s job easier, and we are excited to be able to offer Plannit as a member benefit,” USPTA CEO John Embree said. “Busy USPTA Professionals can now use this tool to help manage and grow their business while saving valuable time through this mobile platform.”
In support of USPTA members, Plannit will contribute 5 percent of the subscription fees to the individual accounts of USPTA-certified Professionals who participate in the USPTA Retirement Gold+ program. USPTA members who run their business through Plannit will, in effect, receive back this 5 percent of cost directly to their retirement account.
The company becomes the ninth contributor to the USPTA retirement program since its inception in January 2014. Plannit joins leading tennis and wellness companies Prince Global Sports, Fromuth, NetKnacks, Hop-a-Razzi, Power Plate, 2XU, Connor Sport Court International and 10-S Tennis Supply in contributing directly to USPTA-certified Professionals’ retirement accounts.
"We feel Plannit is a game-changer for tennis professionals," said Chris Vargas, Founder of Plannit. "But don't take our word; just listen to the USPTA Pros and clients using Plannit."
States Randy Becker, USPTA Professional and head tennis professional at Fremont Hills Club, California: "In the past three weeks, clients have booked 11 lesson slots that would otherwise have been lost revenue before Plannit. Every client I mention Plannit to jumps at the idea and every week is being over sold. My clients love this!"
Fiona Tan, tennis client from Palo Alto California, exclaims: "With Plannit, I can now book my favorite times at any time, without the long wait or back and forth texting. Plannit saves me time and makes it incredibly easy to meet my pro. Finally, my pro has a modern, mobile service that really helps me."
This member benefit is the first of its kind offered to USPTA-certified Professionals. After a free 30-day subscription, USPTA members pay just $29 per month for the service. Plannit is free for clients.
Plannit's goal is to help both the tennis-teaching professional and client. Pros benefit by having more bookings, more revenue, and happier clients. Clients benefit by being able to book lessons with a tap, save money with volume discounts, and improve their game with lesson notes from their pro.
"Between my and my pro’s work schedule, we had not been able to get anything on the calendar. Now I can just browse his availability and book a lesson directly,” said Deb Matityu, a tennis client in Los Altos, California. “It saves us both a lot of hassle and time. I am booking more lessons than before, because it's so easy.”
