At the 2019 ATA Trade Show, USA Archery introduced SKB as its Official Case and Bow Protector. SKB's top of the line hard cases are the best option for protecting archery equipment, especially in air travel, and USA Archery is excited to partner with SKB to better serve its athletes.
As part of this partnership, SKB has been granted license to include USA Archery trademarks on their products. SKB will have a presence at USA Archery national events. Additionally, SKB cases will be provided to senior U.S. Archery Team athletes and discounts will be available for USA Archery members and clubs.
Company founders Dave Sanderson and Steve Kottman, SKB Corporation began in a small Anaheim, California garage. Today, SKB is recognized globally as an industry leader in the design and manufacture of molded polymer transport cases. Vacuum, rotational or injection molded, these cases are engineered to provide protection for equipment utilized by hundreds of companies involved in diverse industries. The familiar SKB logo has symbolized uncompromising quality and unsurpassed durability for more than four decades.
"As a company with a proud American-made legacy, we are thrilled to partner with the USA Archery Team and look forward to providing some essential support to these athletes as they pursue excellence," said Steve Kerpan, Vice President of the Sports Division at SKB. "These cases will help to ensure that all their gear stays safe and secure-just one less thing for each athlete to worry about so they can focus on success instead."
USA Archery CEO Rod Menzer also shared his enthusiasm for the partnership: "SKB has a longstanding history of creating the preferred bow protection choice of many of our top athletes. Their dedication to keeping archers' equipment protected is exceptional and we are excited to make their technology more readily available to USA Archery's members and teams."
USA Archery appreciates SKB's support and looks forward to our partnership.
About SKB: The first SKB case was created in 1977 by two ambitious college students in a humble residential garage in Anaheim, California. Together Steve Kottman and Dave Sanderson engineered what would eventually become the industry's premier lightweight molded guitar case-just the first of many innovations that have since cemented SKB's global reputation as a leading manufacturer of superior equipment transport solutions.
Today SKB remains family owned and operated, and has expanded its operations into three factories with over 300 employees. SKB's innovative solutions can be found on all seven continents where they help diverse industries around the world to protect their livelihoods, build better products, and get the job done-usually in the toughest environments where protection of sensitive equipment is mission critical. Top companies in music, photography, sports, aerospace, military, and more all look to SKB for support.
After more than 40 years of steady growth, SKB is most grateful for the continued trust and loyalty of its customers, and remains dedicated to the assurance that every case with an SKB logo has been manufactured with an unconditional commitment to unsurpassed quality.
