The United Soccer Leagues, LLC, announced today it had signed a multi-year partnership with Trak Software, which becomes the Official Sponsorship Management Platform for all related properties, including the United Soccer League, USL’s Division III, the Premier Development League and the Super Y League. The multi-year deal will see Trak – a collaboration tool used by organizations who buy, sell or consult on multi-asset corporate sponsorships – help accelerate and simplify sponsorship management.
Formerly Sponsorship Buddy, Trak rebranded in 2018 to convey the full partnership solution it provides to its portfolio of customers that include properties and rights holders that sell sponsorships, brands that buy sponsorships and agencies/consultants who help execute sponsorships. Trak is the latest addition to the growing Preferred Supplier Program of the USL, which has established key relationships with leading businesses across a broad spectrum of professional league services.
“We are looking forward to the sponsorship solutions that come with adding Trak as the newest member of our Preferred Supplier Program,” said USL President Jake Edwards. “Over the last year, we experienced a 72 percent rise in sponsorship revenue across the league. As this continues to grow, Trak will serve as an invaluable resource to our clubs.”
“We are excited to partner with the USL to help clubs continue to grow their sponsorship revenue and digitally transform the way they manage their partnerships,” said Cameron Oliver, CEO of Trak Software.
The USL will oversee the expansion of an estimated 30–40 new franchises at the second and third divisions of professional soccer over the next five years, creating numerous opportunities for potential suppliers and vendors to support this growth.
Through its Preferred Supplier Program, the USL connects suppliers with new franchise owners and existing USL clubs in order to deliver the best possible experience for fans across North America. Preferred suppliers are “Best in Class” companies that provide services and products to professional franchises and stadium developers and must meet the USL’s strict quality standards. The USL is currently in discussions with suppliers that support stadium development, as well as the buildout of team front offices and operations.
