Tixr, a global experiential commerce leader, and the American Association of Professional Baseball, the premier MLB Partner League, today announced an expansive multi-year partnership. The agreement makes Tixr the “Preferred Primary Ticketing Partner” for the American Association.
“Ensuring a positive fan experience is one of the cornerstones of our mission here at the American Association,” said American Association Commissioner, Joshua Schaub. “Selling a ticket is our first point of contact with our fans, so having a modern, flexible, and mobile-first ticketing partner is crucial as we continue to grow our league. Tixr’s platform checks all the boxes, so we are excited for our teams to consider them as a preferred partner.”
Based in Santa Monica, California, Tixr came on the scene in 2013 with a flexible technology stack that empowers large-scale event producers to sell beyond the ticket. Tixr empowers its clients with a premium, white-labeled user interface and first-of-its-kind unified commerce experience to sell reserved seats, general admission tickets, merchandise, travel packages, and more. The company now services 500 of the most respected live entertainment brands in 40 countries including more than 20 major sports facilities, teams, leagues and events not limited to LIV Golf, Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, Riot Games, Professional Pickleball Association Tour, Lake Placid Olympic Center, Progressive American Flat Track, Bell Bank Park, and the Danbury Hat Tricks.
“Tixr is honored to join forces with the American Association,” said Tixr’s Vice President of Sports, Nate Liberman. “Our partnership will help foster stronger relationships between the teams and their fans and help the AAPB continue to grow and thrive.”
