NBA Partners with Black Excellence Night in Dallas, San Antonio, and Phoenix

Black Excellence Night returns in 2023 with a 3-city tour stopping in Dallas, San Antonio, Texas, and Phoenix, Arizona. The first stop in Dallas, Texas, will occur at American Airlines Center on Sunday, January 22, 2023, on a Dallas Mavericks game night. The event heads to San Antonio on March 4 at AT&T Center and Phoenix, Arizona, on March 25 at Footprint Center. The black empowerment conference partners with NBA teams to host the event offering a unique and engaging event to help increase camaraderie in the black community. 

The event includes exclusive professional networking, an opportunity to support black-owned vendors, a job/career fair with on-site interviews, free professional headshots, live music, entertainment, meet and greet the team players, networking, and VIP mixers. It also includes black leaders speakers series addressing topics indicative of advancing black pathways, a celebration of Black Excellence, and networking after dark, serving as the official afterparties in each city. The black leadership panel discussions include community and diversity and inclusion leaders from Chase, Toyota, Comerica, National Life Group, American Airlines, NBA teams, Microsoft, and other Fortune 500 companies focused on building communities of color. 

The event ticket based on the location also includes access to professional basketball games, including the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, and Phoenix Suns. Additionally, black Excellence Night serves as a fundraising event as a portion of the event ticket sales support small business grants, resources, and mentorship to black businesses and organizations in each city for a nationwide impact.

• Phoenix, Arizona, with the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 11:00 AM
