The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and MyWhoosh have confirmed a US$60,000 prize pool for the 2024 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships on October 26, 2024.
Qualified riders from the semi-finals held in September will compete for a share of US$60,000 at the in-person world championships final in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This will mark the first time the UCI Esports World Championships final has been held in-person, since its inauguration in 2020.
Sweden has qualified the most riders for the final, with 8 athletes, followed by the USA (6), Belgium (4) and Germany (4).
All 40 qualified riders have been invited to race the final in Abu Dhabi on October 26, alongside wildcard entrants for each gender. They will be riding Elite Justo 2 trainers tested and verified by MyWhoosh and the UCI.
Live coverage of the final will be available on YouTube and Twitch TV.
Riders will compete across three intense, short races, earning points in each race that will determine the final rankings. In a test of strategy and stamina, the riders amassing the highest total point scores across the three stages will be crowned the 2024 UCI Cycling Esports World Champions.
