Effingham to Host Bike for Peace Event

The City of Effingham, IL, has announced a special sports event reception.

Bike for Peace, a Norwegian based organization that seeks to initiate and develop a grass root concern for the local environment, as well as creating an understanding of the national and global consequences of the actions of individuals, communities and campaigns, will be in Effingham on Monday May 5th.

This group has organized a “round the world” bike tour that will take them all around the world, with a stop in Effingham. Effingham will host a reception for them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday May 5th in the Effingham City Hall Chambers.
