USA Cycling on Wednesday announced the addition of the USA CRITS Finals to the 2014 edition of the USA Cycling National Criterium Calendar (NCC).
The USA CRITS Finals, which was part of the NCC in 2013, will be held in conjunction with Interbike at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nev., on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014.
This brings the total number of events on the NCC in 2014 to 18.
The NCC begins March 22 in Delray Beach, Fla., when riders compete in the Delray Beach Twilight Festival.
Now in its eighth season, the USA CRITS Championship Series will move to a two-circuit format for 2014 culminating in the Finals at Interbike. Showcasing the best of American criterium racing, the USA CRITS Finals will bring NCC and USA CRITS East and West riders together for a battle of the best.
Established in 1982, Interbike brings together more than 750 cycling-related brands including, but not limited to, manufacturers, industry advocates, media, and retailers.
