The Greater Gwinnett Championship Presented by Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating announced today that there will be scheduled “Kids Day” activities on Saturday, April 20th from 1:00-4:00pm. The Kids Day activities will include appearances by local mascots, face painting, games and much more. The activities will be located behind the 18th green. Children 16 and under will receive free grounds admission with a ticketed adult for each day of the tournament.
The Greater Gwinnett Championship will take place April 17-21, 2013 at TPC Sugarloaf and expects a strong field of Champions Tour professionals. Scheduled to participate are World Golf Hall of Fame members Tom Watson, Bernhard Langer, Hale Irwin, Tom Kite, Curtis Strange, Ben Crenshaw, Sandy Lyle, and Larry Nelson. Other notable Champions Tour professionals playing in the event include Tom Lehman, Rocco Mediate, Kenny Perry, Mark Calcavecchia, Corey Pavin, John Cook, Fred Funk, Scott Simpson, Bob Tway and Hal Sutton.
