The national governing body is seeking homes for its 2026 and 2027 American Open Series, 2026-2027 Season Final, 2027 and 2028 US Open and the 2026-2028 Team Trials.

USA Taekwondo, which was presented at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, is recognized by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC). USA Taekwondo provides developmental opportunities for Taekwondo athletes throughout the United States to cultivate their knowledge of the sport while striving for world-class status.
While each event will have specific needs concerning number of athletes and personnel to be hosted, as well as hotel room block needs, the following should be taken into consideration.
All events require column-free indoor space to fit competition space as needed with walkways between them.
Electrical and Wi-Fi needs are also outlined in each RFP.
USATKD currently partners with Group Housing to contract all hotels for their events. If a bid is awarded; Group Housing will contract all hotels. Host must provide housing information as specified in each packet with proposed rates as part of the bid proposal.
Bid deadlines are different for each event and can be found in the respective bid packets; those interested are asked to note all dates carefully.
