You have the rectangular fields. You have the technology. You have the hotels. You have the enthusiasm. Isn’t it time you threw your hat into the ring to host the 2027 and 2028 NAIA Women's Lacrosse National Championship?
This early May event runs Wednesday to Saturday, bringing brings 200-250 athletes and 500-1,000 fans.
The bid packet can be found at this link. The NAIA’s Host Manual and Style Guide can be downloaded free of charge here. Bids are due on or by deadline, June 1, 2025, and there is a $2,500 (minimum) rights fee.
Requirements of prospective hosts are as follows, according to NAIA:
Facility: A lacrosse facility that meets the standards and approval of the NAIA with two primary championship fields, auxiliary field, and practice fields, adequate spectator seating, lights, electronic scoreboard, press box, concession stands, restrooms, signs and water coolers.

A minimum of four (4) practice fields at the stadium complex or easily accessible, meeting the standards and approval of the NAIA. These facilities must be available to schedule team workouts and practice sessions before and during the event.
Press box personnel necessary for the administration of the games, including public address announcers, scorekeepers, statisticians, scoreboard operators, and personnel to prepare results and update brackets to media, coaches, etc. It shall be equipped with wireless internet, 2 separate wired connections, and a wireless network printer.
Hotel: Centralized property capable of accommodating several meetings and a banquet for 200-400 people, with preference for properties that can house all eight teams. Average length of stay is five to six nights, and the room block is between 125 and 150 rooms. The price range is $100-$135, regardless of room occupancy, and participants will make their reservations and payment directly with the hotel.
