Each stand-alone tournament will feature eight teams and will be played entirely online with teams and talent playing and working from off-site locations. The event will be broadcast with virtual assistance from the Monster Energy DreamHack Studio in Stockholm.
The November event will take place from Nov. 26-29, with invited teams coming from the ESL European World Rankings along with various league winners coming from such places as the Norwegian League, Telia Esports Series, Elgiganten Ligaen, ESL Championship Poland, and two ESEA qualifiers.
In December, four teams selected using the ESL World Ranking will join the winners of the ESL Masters Espana, DreamHack Spain Qualifier, DreamHack Showdown Summer, and an ESEA qualifier to compete online for the $50K grand prize. This event which runs from Dec. 10-13, will also be an online event with teams and talent working from remote locations.
