Good News for Events Played on Synthetic Turf: Study Shows Lower Concussion Risk for Athletes

In April, the EPA made headlines by announcing that studies had found no significant difference in the exposure to certain chemicals found between players who played on synthetic turf fields that use crumb rubber infill, and those who played on grass fields. Now, a new study says that synthetic fields actually have a lower incidence of concussion.
