NCAA Announces 240-Plus Host Sites

For only the fourth time in its history, the NCAA conducted a comprehensive site selection process, putting most of its championships up for bid simultaneously. The Association chose over 240 host sites for preliminary and final rounds of predetermined championships across Divisions I, II and III, primarily for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons.

This season, the NFHS released its latest participation report, noting that a record high of more than eight million participants competed in high school sports in the 2023-24 school year. Are we serving them, in addition to the travel sports market? Let's salute those amazing student athletes, who are balancing their schoolwork, a social life and even their participation in other activities like theater and clubs - in addition to their time on the fields and courts. As we head into a new season and a new school year, we should prepare to give it our best.
