Running USA is offering a don’t-miss webinar on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 11am PT/2pm ET. The session will be centered on “Building Consumer Confidence through Refund and Registration Policies” and will feature Michael Nishi and Jenna Olson of Chicago Event Management (CEM), the producers of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, and Jim Chaney, race director of the Hall of Fame Marathon in Canton, Ohio.
Each of these events is taking a unique path to help runners feel safe and secure in their purchasing decision as they sign up to race again in 2021.
You will hear two unique perspectives on setting up attractive and fair refund and registration standards, from the perspective of a major and smaller event. Considerations made along the way that you can apply to your own races will be explained, and there will be plenty of chances to ask questions.
