The Chicago Red Stars tied the Houston Dash on Christen Press' goal in the 90th minute to earn a 1-1 tie and a point that secured second place and home-field advantage for the NWSL semifinals.

An errant clearance fell to Red Stars defender Julie Johnston, who found her teammate on the U.S. Women's World Cup team, seven yards out, and Press scored the equalizer for 10th goal of the season,
The game drew 5,623 fans at Toyota Field, where the Red Stars will return for the semifinals against defending champion FC Kansas City.
In the other semifinal, the regular-season champion Seattle Reign FC will host the Washington Spirit. Washington lost for the first time at the Maryland SoccerPlex during the 2015 NWSL season when it dropped a 2-1 decision to the Reign in front of a soldout home crowd.
The Reign finished the season with an eight-game unbeaten streak and 10 points ahead of the Red Stars,
