We’ve seen plenty of RFPs but this one is different.
US Youth Soccer is seeking a new home for its headquarters; the organization will need to vacate its current space in Dallas and it needs to find a base for its operations.
The full RFI can be found here; however, salient points are as follows:
Longevity: The US Youth Soccer Association (USYS) is entering its 51st year. Formed as a 501(c) 3 entity in the State of Tennessee, USYS currently has its principal office headquarters in the Dallas area of Texas.
Current Situation: For the past 20 years, USYS has been located in the parking lot of FC Dallas in Frisco. The lease expires at the end of October 2025. USYS, throughout the years, has had an excellent relationship with FC Dallas and has had access for its major events at their multi-field facility.
While USYS would have liked to stay at its current facility, FC Dallas is beyond capacity and needs USYS to vacate its space at the end of the lease (or sooner if a suitable location can be found). Currently, US Youth Soccer occupies 13,000 sq. feet of space.
Headquarters Requirements: USYS employs 54 staff, 34 of them full-time. 24 are located in Frisco, the rest are remote. The office space includes 8,000 sq. feet of offices and 5,000 sq. feet of warehouse space. Looking ahead, the organization ideally would like office space for up to 35 staff and would prefer to have warehouse space close, though officials are looking at alternative options for the warehouse.
Note: The ideal location would be on or close to a sports complex with 12 or more fields.
USYS, based on the facility and/or surrounding available fields would potentially bring one of its Championship Events. This would include its National Championships, Presidents Cup and numerous USYS National League events. Here is a list of the programs provided by US Youth Soccer.

Deadline: Please review the RFI (which includes extensive information and relevant questions) and if interested, return proposals by deadline, October 1, 2024.
