Fifteen softball fields will be in play in the Roanoke Valley of Salem, Virginia, on June 21, 22 & 23 for the 12th ISF Senior World Cup. One of senior softball's favorite events, the World Cup has become one of the largest senior tournaments in the East and should close with over 75 teams this year. The Registered Team list is posted on the ISSA Website. Any teams planning on playing should submit their Online Entry Form now if not already on the list, the tournament will close to new entries early next week. (Players should confirm that their team is listed on the posted Registered Teams list. Preliminary game schedules for all ISSA events are posted on the Website approximately five days before the tournament starts.
Auburn, Alabama is set to welcome the senior teams coming to town for the ISSA United States Southern Championships again this year on July 12-14. Teams from FL, GA and AL have already entered online and participation is expected to reach the field capacity for the event. For players who like to find lodging close to the fields, the Hampton Inn is just across the street from the complex.
The Mountaineer Senior Classic on July 19-21 will take place at Morgantown, West Virginia. All players are encouraged to stay at the Host Hotel where the City will provide a catered team party room on Friday and Saturday nights.
