June 4 – Special Dedication Night : This summer, the newest division of the Kino Baseball League, known as the John "Bud" Grainger American Legion League, will promote each Wednesday as “American Legion Night.” On opening night, June 4, a special ceremony will be held to honor our veterans and all military service personnel, including a special tribute and dedication to Ryan Hanson, a coach in the American Legion and part of the Kino Baseball program who passed away suddenly this past spring. The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Andy Lopez, head baseball coach at the University of Arizona. Ceremonies will start at 6:15 p.m. on field 5 at the South Quad.
Admission to the games, either at the South Quad or at Kino Stadium, is $3 for adults; youth 17 years of age and under are free. Concessions will be available during the games.
