The Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance has announced the opening of two new world-class sports facilities. Both facilities are now fully operational and are hosting events.
The new Triangle Table Tennis center in Morrisville celebrated its grand opening in May. The 30,000-square-foot facility is open to the public and features more than 30 courts along with specialized sport flooring, high ceilings, high-intensity lighting, a pro shop, spectator seating and more. The facility meets USATT and ITTF standards for competitions and training. It is considered one of the largest table tennis training facilities in the country and will be a marquee venue for tournaments and regional/national level events.
The new Daniel Dhers Action Sports Complex in Holly Springs opened in May and is billed as the largest family-oriented, year-round, BMX, mountain biking and skateboarding training facility in the world with more than 37,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor riding terrain.
