Pelican Bay Aquatic Center Named Top Attraction in Edmond, OK

Pelican Bay Aquatic Center, a seasonal pool owned by the City of Edmond and managed by Sports Facilities Companies (SFC), has been selected by Travel Lens online publication as one of the best things to do in Edmond, OK. Travel Lens is a one-stop travel publication dedicated to featuring comprehensive reviews of worldwide destinations, including hotels, restaurants, and things to do since 2018. The magazine covered areas in Oklahoma in January, where Edmond was selected.

Pelican Bay is rated in the top 10 of the selected 16 of the best things to do in Edmond. “If you want to spend time making a splash, check out Pelican Bay Aquatic Center,” wrote Travel Lens publishers. “This place is Edmond’s state-of-the-art municipal leisure pool where people of all ages can cool off and have fun.”

Pelican Bay hosted 40,000 visitors in last year’s season after improvements in operations, updates in the park, new programming, events, and membership benefits, following the previous season. Local magazines also recognized the aquatic center and awarded it "Top 3 Amusement Parks in Oklahoma City" in 2021.
