
The final three US Open National Playoff sectional qualifying tournaments finished last week, completing this year’s field for the 2014 US Open National Playoffs – Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles Championships in New Haven, Conn., in August.
The 2014 US Open National Playoffs garnered 1,458 entries, up 15% over last year. This year marked the largest year-over-year increase in entries in the program's five-year history.

The winners or top available finishers from each of the 13 sectional qualifying tournaments advance to the US Open National Playoffs – Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles Championships, to be held during the Connecticut Open, an Emirates Airline US Open Series women’s event, in August.
The US Open National Playoffs – Men’s and Women’s Championships take place Aug. 15-18 in New Haven, while the Mixed Doubles Championships take place Aug. 20-23.
The US Open National Playoffs mixed doubles champions receive a main draw wild card into the 2014 US Open, while the men’s and women’s singles champions earn a wild card into the US Open Qualifying Tournament held the week prior to the US Open.
