USABS Announces Partnership with Sportfied Recruit

USA Bobsled Skeleton (USABS) announced their partnership with Sportfied Recruit. 

Sportified Recruit is a recruiting firm that caters exclusively to former athletes. The company aims to help industrious and hungry athletes find passion and purpose after the game while enabling select organizations to hire from this elite talent pool.

The company was founded by a husband and wife team, Jed and Maggie Ortmeyer.  Jed played professional hockey for 11 years and is currently the Director of Player Development for the New York Rangers.  Maggie worked in the corporate world before starting a sports marketing business alongside Jed’s hockey career that extended the couples’ collective network into all major sports and beyond.

Sportified Recruit is a resource for individuals looking to turn their innate characteristics and soft skills as an athlete into a gratifying career in the corporate world.  Their employer partners are those who understand and value these attributes and offer a corporate culture that lends well to this type of talent.

Experience levels of their candidates range from fresh out of their respective sport to seasoned professionals, and although they do not focus on a particular industry, many of the opportunities they work with are sales, business development and/or leadership focused.
