Now’s your shot! Score big with a sports destination that nets unlimited opportunities to plan, play and stay in Frisco, The City That Plays.

Frisco, known as Sports City USA, is home to multiple professional sports teams, national and international athletic organizations, world-class facilities, prestigious sports medicine and rehabilitation centers and an emerging esports community. But don’t just take our word for it…

“Frisco, Texas is the right choice, right now because Frisco leadership has invested in creating a world class city. There’s a skilled workforce, a proactive climate, and a genuine spirit of partnership that is real, not just a buzz word,” says Jerry Jones, Owner and GM, Dallas Cowboys

Nothing defines Sports City USA more than The Star District. This 91-acre mixed-use campus serves as the world headquarters and training facility for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, as well as a walkable entertainment district anchored by Ford Center, a 12,000-seat indoor multi-purpose event center.

Just down the road, Comerica Center, the official practice rink and world headquarters of the NHL’s Dallas Stars and the home court of the NBA G-League Texas Legends, hosts a variety of sporting events, concerts and trade and corporate conventions.

Dr Pepper Ballpark, home field of the Texas Rangers’ Double-A Affiliate team, the Frisco Roughriders, provides a truly unique ballpark experience for players and fans. The ballpark has been recognized by Ballpark Digest as one of the best ballparks in the country and best improved, most recently with the addition of the Lazy River, located just outside of right field.

Toyota Stadium not only serves as home pitch for MLS’s FC Dallas, but also houses the National Soccer Hall of Fame, which opened in 2018. The interactive experience for visitors honors the history and legends of soccer in the United States with more than 400 soccer items on display, including the U.S. Women’s National Team’s four FIFA World Cup trophies. It also uses cutting-edge facial recognition, gesture technology and virtual reality to offer a tailored experience for visitors.

To add even more to Sports City USA’s roster, the PGA of America has broken ground on its new headquarters in Frisco. The two championship courses, short course, practice areas, clubhouse and headquarters will open in summer 2022. An adjacent 521-room Omni resort with a 127,000-square-foot conference center will open in 2023.

Along with these facilities, Frisco has been fortunate to host several annual events, including the NCAA Division I Football Championship Series, Conference USA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, SheBelieves Cup, WOGA Classic and Valeri Liukin Invitational and Frisco College Baseball Classic.

And in a year of uncertainty, Frisco was ready to step up to the plate when the time came for sports to return. As restrictions relaxed in Texas, venues were prepared to safely host events, which allowed Frisco to capitalize on the need to quickly relocate events from other areas of the country, including three youth hockey events, one international world championship hockey tournament, a college football bowl game and a national collegiate basketball tournament.
