Football University (FBU), a national, invitation-only training camp run by former NFL players and coaches, will head to Dublin, OH., from July 17-23 for the elite TOP GUN camp. Football University selects and invites more than 1,600 of the nation’s elite high school and youth players (6th-11th grades) to undergo three days of intense football training, all under the tutelage of former NFL players and coaches. “Football University” is developed by All American Games, the creators of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
FBU Has Reached National Attention: “Football University” has attracted the attention and praise from parents, players, coaches and media outlets, including Sports Illustrated, Rivals, The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, USA Today and Miami Herald. The camp is geared toward helping players reach their full potential, offering training, instruction and equipment usually reserved for professionals.
“Football University is not a camp for everyone; it’s for elite-level kids. It’s not the typical camp where campers hear speeches, throw a few footballs, run some sprints, and have autographs signed by NFL players. We want to give our kids the opportunity to be the best they can be, reach their full potential and we don’t apologize for that,” said Rich McGuinness, president of Football University.
Former San Francisco 49’er Wide Receiver Mike Wilson Headlines FBU Top Guns Deep Roster of Coaches: As with all FBU camps, FBU TOP GUN will feature coaches with some of the game’s brightest minds who have experience developing NFL players and major-college athletes. Headlining the TOP GUN camp as one of the Head Coaches is former San Francisco 49’er Wide Receiver, Mike Wilson. Wilson is a four-time Super Bowl winner and also has experience coaching wide receivers in the NFL with the Cardinals, Browns, and Raiders. He has coached big name players such as Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, and Tim Brown.

Quarterbacks: Jeff Rutledge –3x SEC Champion with Alabama and 2x Super Bowl Champ with the LA Rams and New York Giants; Rutledge has played for an won with great coaches his whole life ; Offensive Line: Jim McNally – One of the most recognizable OL coaches, Jim McNally coached the likes of Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz and All-Pro Lomas Brown; Running Backs: Marc Logan – Won Super Bowl XXIX with the San Francisco 49ers; Linebackers: Bob Valesente – Coached the linebackers as the Packers went on to win Super Bowl XXXI; Defensive Line: Zerick Rollins – Helped the Seattle Seahawks reach their first Super Bowl (XL) as their defensive line coach; Wide Receivers: Charlie Collins – Collins coaches many of the top NFL wide receivers including All-Pros Chad Johnson and Steve Smith.; Defensive Backs: Ray Buchanan – 2X All-Pro cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons.
ABOUT FBU: Football University is an invitation-only experience for the serious football player, focusing on teaching technique and skill in a small-group setting with other elite athletes.
