On November 7, 2015, Elite Shooting Sports (ESS) will hold an all-day event to celebrate the completion of its record-breaking first year in business. This state-of-the-art indoor shooting range at 7751 Doane Drive in Manassas, VA, has welcomed over 33,000 customers in the first year of its operation and is averaging 500 new customers a week since opening its doors in November 2014.
The event runs 9 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015. Complimentary barbeque will be served from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility, learn about our plans to expand programs and services, meet factory representatives from the industry, radio and television personalities, Government and County officials, enjoy some great barbeque, quality shooting time on the range, giveaways and drawings for some really great prizes.
Elite Shooting Sports is the shooting destination for people from all walks of life who want a safe, clean, and friendly environment to enjoy the shooting sports. We are a very family-friendly organization and provide a great place for the entire family to enjoy the day.
In addition, Elite Shooting Sports is a DCJS Certified Training Facility used by eight Federal agencies and three local Law Enforcement agencies for regular training and qualifications.
Opened in November 2014, the 65,000 square foot facility was built from the ground up as an indoor shooting range with additional safety features as part of the design and construction. It houses two customer lounges with flat screen TVs, a Café, large retail area, several classrooms, dojo and Ti Training simulator.
There are four separate ranges, totaling 42 shooting lanes, each featuring shooting booths wider than industry standards. The ranges are well appointed with the most advanced state-of-the-art equipment available in the industry. This includes the only government approved HVAC system for indoor shooting ranges. This system maintains interior air temperatures at comfortable 71 degrees year around while filtering the air and returning it to the environment cleaner than it originally was. The 100-yard range includes additional sound proofing material, wider shooting booths, ambidextrous shooting benches and an HD camera system, which allow shooters to see where their rounds hit the target on an overhead monitor.
The company’s newly redesigned website provides an easy and enjoyable way for new and returning customers to keep informed of the news about the facility and services.
Online registration is open for ESS Concealed Carry and Ladies Only Basic Pistol Courses. Both meet Virginia’s concealed carry application requirements. The Ladies Only program has been a huge success, with classes filled to capacity through February 2016. More classes will become available in the months to come.
ESS annual prep-paid members account for 10% of the existing customer base, i.e. 3,000 members.
Membership fees start at just $34.95 a month. You do not need an annual membership to enjoy the facility; walk-in customers are welcome with an hourly rate of just $20. Discounts on membership are available to active/retired Military, current Law Enforcement and First Responders.
The ESS Gunsmithing and Manufacturing Services Department has been open to customers since late July 2015 and already serviced hundreds of firearms. Services vary from basic sight installation, detail stripping and cleaning, repairs, action work to full house custom handguns and rifles in any platform. Finishing services are available as well, including CERAKOTETM.
The ESS retail area includes a variety of shooting accessories and merchandise by such leading manufacturers as Magpul Industries, Blade-Tech, J. Dewey, AimPoint, Vortex, Burris, C-MORE, Trijicon, and others. We also have the largest stock of quality ammunition in the area at competitive prices.
