The winners of 11 Olympic medals in Paris – including three golds – will race the supertri League in 2024.
Cassandre Beaugrand and Alex Yee, who took the triathlon individual golds at the Paris 2024 Olympics, will compete for Crown Racing and Brownlee Racing respectively. Meanwhile, Germany’s mixed relay gold medallist, Tim Hellwig, is also racing supertri for the first time with his team to be revealed later.
In addition, American mixed relay silver medallists Taylor Spivey and Seth Rider will compete, as well as individual silver winner Hayden Wilde. Bronze medallists racing supertri include Beth Potter, who bagged the same honour in both the individual and the mixed team relay, as well as Leo Bergere, Georgia Taylor-Brown and Alex Yee, who added the mixed relay bronze to his individual gold.
The supertri League gets under way in Boston, MA, on August 18, 2024.
Podium Racing is the first to unveil tis roster for supertri League 2024. The team was acquired by a group of investors led by Podium Coaching Group supremo John Anthony and is managed by Tim Don.
Don has proven himself to be the most successful manager in supertri, securing two of the three teams titles so far.
From his victorious 2023 Eagles team Don has retained Jeanne Lehair and Fanni Szalai, the 16-year-old he has mentored since she burst onto the global stage with supertri. He has added to that a former Eagle in Vittoria Lopes, and nabbed French star Leonie Periault.
In the men’s roster he has kept hold of Leo Bergere, the defending supertri champion and now Olympic bronze medallist, and Matt Hauser, the Australian who has been a supertri ever-present since the start. He has also recruited World Champion Dorian Coninx, alongside compatriot Leo Bergere and Kenji Nener.
