Tim Yount

Tim Yount is chief operating officer in at USA Triathlon. As USA Triathlon’s longest-tenured employee, Yount has managed nearly every major program since joining the staff in 1989. He has been on the U.S. delegation at 65-plus International Triathlon Union World Championships and served as team leader for triathlon’s debut at the 2000 Summer Games in Australia. He oversees USA Triathlon’s membership, events and sport development departments and leads recruitment efforts to add triathlon as a varsity sport in colleges.
