Fran Dowell

Senior Softball USA Executive Director Fran Dowell has been involved with the sport since 1997. She served as SSUSA’s National Tournament Director and Marketing Director before becoming the first female executive director of a major softball organization in 2006. She was inducted into the National Senior Softball Hall of Fame in 2016 and into the Senior Softball USA Hall of Fame in 2018. For the past two decades, Fran has been instrumental in guiding the largest senior tournaments in the sport.
