Aaron Mann

After 15 years training and competing on the U.S. Slalom National Team, Aaron developed a passion for Olympic paddlesport. He has served as an athlete representative on the USOPC's Athlete Advisory Council and USA Canoe/Kayak's Board of Directors. Following his retirement from slalom, he worked as the Director of Communications for USA Canoe/Kayak and as the press officer for the sport at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. He is still an avid class-V whitewater kayaker, competing in extreme kayak races and going on whitewater expeditions around the world. He has a degree in history from the University of Maryland.
